People move to a new city for all kinds of reasons; new job, seeking adventure, education, change in lifestyle, relocating after a broken relationship, closer to family and many, many more.

When I first came to Westminster Presbyterian Church I asked everyone I bumped into, “why do you attend Westminster Presbyterian Church?” Almost everyone I talked to essentially said, “we were looking for a church and when we came to WPC, we just felt like we belonged and everyone treated us like family.” In our culture it is possible to get the best preaching and worship music online at anytime. But finding a community of kind people who care for one another can only be done in person.

Making friends and connections is difficult in a new city. Maybe you used to go to church when you were younger and just stopped going. Maybe you are looking for a new group of people to connect with. Maybe you and your family have been feeling like it is time to get back to church. We don’t force anyone to believe, sing, pray, pray out-loud, introduce yourself or give money. We encourage you to ask questions, even the tough ones, and we give honest and biblically based answers, or we figure out it with you.

We believe that the message of Jesus Christ is “good news for all people” and following Jesus will bring about the most satisfying life.
