Meet the team
Coleen Olmsted – Retreat Speaker
Coleen Olmsted is delighted to be speaking at the WPC FOR JOY Women’s Retreat. Coleen and her husband, Mike, are grateful parents of two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons who bring them great joy. Coleen and Mike have been involved in ministry for more than 30 years. Mike served for over 20 years as pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin, Minnesota. During those years, Coleen faithfully led women’s Bible studies, discipled women, and helped organize women’s retreats.
Coleen enjoys taking walks, connecting with friends, and spending time with her family. Mike and Coleen are now beginning a new season of ministry together as shepherds with Standing Stone Ministry. This ministry focuses on supporting, mentoring, and encouraging pastors, ministry leaders, and their spouses as they serve in their callings.
Cori Geving - Retreat Director
Cori Geving serves as the leader of Spiritual Life Ministries at Westminster Presbyterian Church. She has been married to her husband, Randy, for 35 years and is the mother of three beautiful daughters and an amazing son-in-law. She enjoys simple moments—walking with her aging dog, praying with her husband and close friends, and listening to her grown children laugh and enjoy one another’s company.
Thirty years in ministry, along with a personal journey through cancer, have deepened her desire to help people connect the realities of everyday life with the hope found in Christ. Cori considers it a privilege to serve at WPC, where she coordinates Women’s Bible Study, supports MomCo leadership, writes devotional and prayer materials, and plans the church’s annual Women’s Retreat.
