REGISTRATION FOR VBS IS OPEN! Pick up the VBS registration form on the table in the Narthex, or online at www.wpcesco.com, register your children, and drop the form off in the office - front desk or email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Invite your friends to VBS!
SUNDAY SCHOOL AND YOUTH GROUP:
FIRST SERVICE CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL - All children’s activities will begin with children worshipping with their parents. Preschoolers thru 5th grade will be dismissed to Sunday school after the opening songs. Parents may pick up their child from the playground after the service.
YOUTH GROUP - Middle school and high school classes are on hiatus until a Youth Director is hired.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL - Postponed one week to allow members to attend the Congregational Gathering between services
JULI SANYAL - Many of you have asked if you can help the Sanyal Family while Juli Sanyal is recovering at home. A Go Fund Me site has been created to allow those who love and care for Juli and her family, a way to help. https://www.gofundme.com/helpforsanyalfamily If you do not have access to a computer, please stop by the office during office hours (M-Th 8—2) for assistance. If you would like to provide an evening meal, please sign up with https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/wy39vq. We are providing meals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Your participation is greatly appreciated!

HOLY YOGA CLASSES - Chair Yoga meets Monday and Wednesday, 2:00 –3:30 pm and Holy Yoga on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 pm in the Narthex. Both are open for newcomers. Join us! Donation - $8 per class.

PRAYER CIRCLE - meets at 1:30 pm in the Pastor’s office.
YOUTH GROUP - on hiatus until a Youth Leader is hired.

CHANCEL CHOIR - rehearsal from 7 - 8:30 pm. New singers are always welcome.
Friday, May 25th
ALL CHURCH FELLOWSHIP NIGHT - Dancing, Dinner and Fellowship - check the bulletin insert for more information.
Sunday, May 27th
MOPS SUNDAY - We welcome Mothers of PreSchoolers and their families to both services and Fellowship time. Westminster opens its campus to over 60 mothers of preschoolers and over 80 preschoolers three Thursdays a month during the school year.
ADULT FELLOWSHIP LUNCHEON - Is postponed until June.
ALTERNATIVES MEDICAL CLINIC EVENT– Men of Westminster—you are invited to the 500 Heroes Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, June 9th, 7:30-9:30am, at Emmanuel Faith Community Church with a guest speaker and program to encourage each man.
INTERFAITH COMMUNITY SERVICES - The following linens are needed to move clients into their own homes: twin/full sheet sets, twin/full blankets, pillows and pillowcases, bath towels/washcloths, bath mats/rugs. These items need to be brand new, please. Items will be collected through June 10 in the boxes near the wheelbarrow.
GRADUATE INFORMATION REQUESTED - Do you have a graduating high school senior or college grad this spring? Please write the information on your yellow Friendship Card—grad’s name, name of school graduating from, and name of college attending in the fall.
If You Have Children...
Children are welcome in worship but just in case you have wiggly ones that would like to participate in our kids’ ministry program, here are your options:
- Kids packs with crayons and paper as well as books are available for use during the service. They are to your right as you enter the Narthex (lobby) area.
- A family room is located in the back of the sanctuary with chairs, a bathroom, changing table, bottle warmer and is available for parents with babies and toddlers.
- Nursery care is available for ages 0-2 during each service.
VBS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - This summer we are getting AMPED about our faith in Jesus. We need your help to make VBS a success. Please contact Megan Benjamin at email@example.com or make a note on your yellow Friendship Card if you are able to help. July 9-13, 9 to noon.
KNOW A SHUT-IN WHO WOULD LIKE COMMUNION AT THEIR HOME? Please write a note on your yellow Friendship Card, and it will be forwarded to the Deacon Communion Committee.
Byrom Hardisty Scholarships – The Mariner-Byrom-Hardisty Scholarship Fund offers small scholarships to graduating seniors who are members of WPC and plan to attend college. To apply for this award, please write a letter stating your church activities, academic accomplishments, college plans and future goals. Please submit your letter to the attention of Denny Schepman, Endowment Chairman, to the WPC office by June 30th.
